I would like to share a quick thank you to my teachers from the weekend. Though my thank you might seem short and insignificant my gratitude will forever be there and the lessons I received from my teachers will alway be apart of me.
Mr. Hayes: Thank you for sharing and the patience that must come with it.
Mrs. Hayes: Thank you for sharing your smile.
Mark Davis: Thank you for showing us how to be humble.
Dennis: Thank you for your ability to teach, you allowing us to discover over showing us your steps.
Derek: Thank you for your joy in training and radiating that.
Theresa: Thank you for showing the importance of having it work for you.
Darryl: Thank you for showing me the just do.
Danielle: Thank you for being my other half.
Nameless teachers: Thank you for showing me why I should never stop looking, why you can’t show the person how to do the technique and how to listen.
Paul: Thank you for showing me taijutsu has its own universal language.
Dayton: Thank you for showing me what Ohio is about!
Short and sweet, that’s what I learned at Festival from my many teachers.
